The Northern Meeting Park was built in 1864/5 as a venue for the Northern Meeting to hold its sporting and social events. It is situated on the West bank of the river Ness in the shadow of Inverness Cathedral and Eden Court Theatre and is accessible from Ardross Street (North : main entrance and two sets of double iron gates); Cathedral car park (East : two sets of double iron gates) and Eden Court/ Highland Council car park ( South : two sets of double iron gates).
